CHOOSE THE FINISHES – Part 3: DINING TABLES

Everyone likes to sit at the table with family and friends, whether it’s for a quick breakfast before going to work or to enjoy a nice long meal. Life is a constant bustle, but it is important to take a little time to sit down at the table. The space available and frequency of use are the two factors that will define the type of table suitable for your dining room. From RARDO-Architects we want to show some of the project proposals made in our architects office in Sitges, all very different, and make lunch time the social event of the day.

Metal

The best of the industrial aesthetic is its casual and natural air that adapts to almost any space. The variety of different types of chairs arranged around it can further enhance the urban and bold nature of the proposal.

Glass

If your style is more classic, glass dining tables lighten the space. like the one we see in the photo that combine wood with a mirror effect. It combines well with crystal glasses, white crockery and linen napkins. The final touch is provided by the elegant velvet chairs.

XL

If you have a big family or if you always have many guests to eat because you cook wonderfully, a large table is indispensable. You have several styles to choose from, such as the wooden table in the image. It is good to know that reclaimed wood gains personality over the years and use. The hanging lamps provide a pleasant atmosphere at night.

Round

A round table is the perfect meeting place, both for informal lunches and for a dinner with friends. The central foot allows everyone to sit comfortably and without suffering the discomfort of sitting between the legs. They are proof that it is possible to dine in a comfortably reduced space.

Bar & stools

As lifestyles change, you may come to the conclusion that it is not necessary to have a complete dining set. In that case, you can change the traditional table and the chairs for a bar and high stools. The result is a perfect corner for coffee and a small snack or even, with a dim light, a romantic dinner for two.

Wood spaces

As in any wardrobe you can not miss an elegant suit or a classic black cocktail dress, a wooden dining table with good finishes is an investment that lasts for many years and combines with any style.

 Exteriors

There is nothing better than eating outdoors. A sturdy table is a basic element for the garden. With proper care it can last for many years. Look for waterproof fabrics for cushions and start enjoying long outdoor meals.
