New project in Castelldefels

We were asked to develop a full-scale refurbishment of an detached house located in la Pineda, a neighbourhood of Castelldefels playa, Barcelona. This quiet residential area is surrounded by large groups of mature pine trees that give shelter to the villas below. The house had a challenging interior configuration. We proposed a new skin for the old home and a large double height opening in the middle of the house to allow for light to fill the interior spaces creating a totally new sense of space.
