Our architecture studio commissioned to design a contemporary family villa in the prestigious La Plana residential area, near the heart of Sitges, Barcelona. The clients’ vision was to create a spacious, modern home tailored to family living, with 3 generously sized double bedrooms on the ground floor and a luxurious master suite on the upper level, featuring direct access to an expansive terrace with stunning views.

The ground floor of the modern villa is designed with an open-plan layout, seamlessly blending the living, dining, and kitchen areas into a harmonious space. A double-height ceiling enhances the sense of openness, with a minimalist staircase and a concrete fireplace as central features that frame the views of the lush garden. To take full advantage of the plot’s gentle slope, the south-facing exterior incorporates a series of cascading terraces, perfect for outdoor living and entertaining.
The master suite, located on the upper floor, is a private sanctuary, offering a spacious bedroom, an opulent en-suite bathroom. The suite opens onto a large, connected terrace, providing a serene outdoor space to relax. The rooftop is designed as a functional and stylish extension of the living area, with a jacuzzi and a cozy fireplace ideal for enjoying Sitges’ beautiful autumn evenings. From the rooftop, residents can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, including the historic Sitges old town by night.
The back of the villa, which also serves as the main access point, is transformed into a peaceful retreat, perfect for late afternoon relaxation. A custom-made concrete bench, combined with a large olive tree and a fire pit, creates a serene and intimate space for unwinding, with the warm glow of the fire adding to the tranquil atmosphere.
