A purist and functional apartment in Barcelona

We carried out a simple reform of a summer apartment in La Levantina, Sitges. The owners asked us to design a modest, purist and functional home. We proposed a practical renovation characterized by its fluid, dynamic and continuous spaces.

On the ground floor, a dividing wall partially separates the staircase from the common space while embracing the living room and dinning area. At the back of the wall, we installed a lighting system that enables the owners to play with the perception of space and depth.

All the fitted furniture was custom-made and designed by our specialist to bring flexibility. For example and on the top floor, we installed a folding wall bed to gain meters and possibly adapt the room to different everyday situations. We opted for neutral colours for both interior architecture and furniture to emphasize the sense of lightness.
