NEW DISTRIBUTION FOR A PENTHOUSE BY THE GOLF
We lead a minimalistic and austere renovation in a 200m2 attic with stunning views to the golf. The project made special focus on the kitchen zone. The original small rooms of the property were disconnected and the common area used to face north receiving no direct daylight. In addition, the new owners thought that the kitchen was too small for them to enjoy and share during social gatherings. To meet their requirements, we designed a kitchen capable of taking centre stage. We created a sliding enclosure to act as a transition between the kitchen and the rest of the common space. The sliding wall also permits the owners to establish different privacy degrees. A fluid and dynamic space that can be adapted and transformed depending on their current needs. In contrast with the lower floor, we equipped the superior floor with the necessary amenities so that our clients can live comfortable, in absolute privacy.
Since the beginning, we dialogued with our clients to fully understand their dreams and needs. What they really wished for was to have a lovely kitchen where they could cook and gather around. From an aesthetic point of view, they wanted a minimalist and neutral interior home design. We designed a fully equipped, functional and spacious kitchen comfortable to spend plenty of time. Thanks to its distribution and quality furniture the kitchen was transformed into an ideal space to share with family and friends. By special request, we also installed a series of made-to-measure columns for extra storage room.
Among their desires, the clients also wanted to improve the relationship between rooms and the use of natural light. Therefore, we created a visual continuity through all the spaces and opened a large window to link the exterior with the interior and enjoy the views to the golf.
We set up a fireplace in the living room to serve as a focal and meeting point. At the client’s request, we demolished the old staircase and in its place installed a brand new private elevator. A new staircase was constructed on the other side of the apartment. The top floor of the penthouse was designed to act as private apartment. The master suite was equipped with an indoor jacuzzi, a walk-in closet, and even a small office. We carefully selected a series of noble materials that could stand the test of time. Wood, steel and stone are some of these materials that also enabled us to generate functional and comfortable environments.
Along with the owners, we selected exclusive furniture for its interior design. Among them, Roche Bobois and B&B Italia furniture. The bathrooms were equipped with Duravit and Agape hi-end ceramics and Hansgrohe faucets.
